Walk-about

07 January 2009

Well, it is kind of hard to follow up the last blog. I can't even come close to having more exciting news... So, I am just going to admit, this will probably be a boring post.

The whole month of December has been a haze of barfing and eating and barfing again. It is just starting to get better, although there have been many false starts, one day good, next day very bad. Needless to say, I have been spending a lot of time at home.

Well last Friday, it was a balmy-winter day at 70-plus degrees, so I asked, while I was feeling decent, if we could go on a walk. Justin brought the camera (of course). Here are our adventures...

( I had to remind Justin that I was there to walk not stop every five feet to take a picture, and he responded, "Well, why did I bring the camera?!!...Honestly,I don't know... but we did get some fun shoots, and now I have something to blog about, so it worked out!)

Yes, we drove to the park, as there was no guarantee I could otherwise make it back!

Walking.

3 Months along.

Footsie, while resting on the park bench!

Holding hands.

The Park.

Woof! Woof! (oops, I mean Bark)

The mistletoe.

Kissing, beneath the mistletoe.
The end!

Sometimes calm, peaceful and nothing over the top is a great thing. Enjoy while it lasts. As for the morning sickness, I was one of the very few people that threw up every time I ate, morning, noon and night with my first one; Ronnie. Then I only had one good 2 week break in my seventh month and back to "where is the bathroom", even on the delivery table I was well...you see the picture. The second on was much better. I remember my mom coming in hours after Ronnie's birth and I was still throwing up...and very sick, and she was all happy saying "you have the cutest baby boy" ....my comment was "who cares" The next day I agreed but for that moment I didn't care, hehe. He has grown up to give me a great daughter in law, Carmen, and two great grandsons. So, it was worth every moment of the all day sickness. Good luck and maybe yours will be over soon. Love Pat

Your last post was awesome! It is hard to deal with trials, but the Lord will support us. What an amazing year!

We are sooooooooooo happy for you guys! Congratulations! Isn't it so strange how when you just get ready to adopt, you get pregnant? I've had several friends that that has happened to. Anyways, we just couldn't be more excited for you both!!!! It is truly a miracle, a blessing, and just AWESOME!!

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!I'm so excited you guys are having a baby! If anyone can sympathize with morning sickness, it's me! I'm 8 months along and still sick as a dog a lot of days. If it doesn't get better soon, I highly recommend Zofran. Your doctor can prescribe a kind that dissolves under your tongue. It works really fast and makes me feel a thousand times better most of the time.

I love the pic's. Justin totally sounds like Matt, and quite literally he is who we are waiting on when we do family outings such as those. It's always, "let's go swing on the swing" Click (this leaf is so beautiful), "Let's play tag" Click (look at the texture on this rock wall) "Let's get in the car a drive to the Kadamodatiches" Click (the shadow on the tires are so cool) Click freaking Click, what are we going to do with these boys.

Love the photos! Hope everything is going well. You guys are in for a treat when you can start feeling the baby move. Krissy and I only have 8 more weeks to go!

ACK! I think your blog address got deleted when I fixed my sidebar! I am just coming to the revelation that you are PREGNANT! I am so jubilant the keyboard will probably be in pieces when I finish typing because I am hitting the keys so hard. I LOVE IT! CONGRATULATIONS! Can I get some bigger type please! I am sorry that your are el-barfo, but this too will pass and once you see the little love muffin, it is so worth it! I hated waiting until the stupid 12 week appt too. It is just so nice to have the reassurance that everything is good. Anywho-sorry for the long comment but I am so excited! Yay!
