Making the cut

21 February 2010

I forgot that last week I gave Etta a quick trim.  Her hair is really funny right now, she has a mohawk of  5 inch long hair and the rest is all about an inch long.  Her bangs were getting out of control, so I just gave them a quick trim to straighten them out a bit.

Also, she got her first tooth on Monday the 15th.  It is her bottom center (to the right) tooth.  She should be getting the other one any day.  We were very blessed, she didn't have any stuffing up, or fevers or really anything that would tell us she was getting a tooth and then it was just there.

She got a little sick for the first time this Tuesday.  It was the first time she didn't go to bed at exactly 8:00, so we knew something was up.  Then she woke up at 11:40 that night screaming, this never happens.  We went in there to help her, only to find out that she had a little pink eye infection.  We called the nurse line and they ordered a prescription, and we  went to pick it up, it took a day or two and it went away.  It was so sad to see her sick.  I am thankful she has been such a healthy baby, good health is a gift.

Here are her haircut pictures.  She didn't really love it, but it was nothing that eating your hair brush can't fix.

She is growing so fast. Wow! Absolutely adorable. Glad she is healthy. Be thankful for that. Such a blessing.

What a cutie! I have two toddlers, so I remember these days well. Every stage is so fun and precious.

Remember to catch the Tooth Fairy when she loses that first tooth: http://www.iCaughtTheToothFairy.com :)
