This giveaway is now closed!

Since I know you all are interested in design I think this giveaway ought to be a fun one.

My Design Guide is hosting a giveaway of
a Custom Room Design value $219!!!!

The Custom Room Design:

Start with a phone consultation with your professional interior designer prior to creating the design (a $55 value).  You can tell us the furnishings you wish to use that you already have.

The design includes selections of :
• Paint Colors  • Furniture • Rugs • Lighting • Art and Accessories and • Window Treatments

It also includes:

• A list and pictures of all the products included in the design
• Pricing and sizing (if appropriate) for all the products

In addition you get:

• A description of the design with information on how it relates to your style and lifestyle
• A shopping list and budget for your design ? so you'll know how to budget.

Sounds awesome doesn't it!?!
Wouldn't you love to see your room looking like this:

Here are three examples from My Design Guide of before and afters that I love.

Wanna see more examples, click here?

My Design Guide is an online resource for interior design.  In one week, you can have an affordable, custom design of your space done by professional interior designers.

Depending on the services you choose, you can get a full room design, or help with the just some of the little things too, like help choosing colors, lighting and art selection, flooring, window treatments, home exterior upgrades... and more!!! WOW!

Their philosophy:
You can have a fabulous room by purchasing the great affordable products we recommend - they are simple to find in your favorite store or order online. Just click on the links we provide to take you there.

Or, use this design as a road map - look at the style, shape, scale, textures and colors we recommend, and then make it work for you by combining new purchases and:
  • Creating a wish list in your home registry – share it with friends and family on special dates-birthday, anniversary or holiday!
  • Using something in your home that looks like the recommended item,
  • Repairing or reupholstering an item that you find,
  • Making something – (OK, maybe not a sofa unless you are really handy, start with something small like framing your own art). Homemade is always well made.
  • Waiting for a sale – you might get the item at a better price – if so, let us know where so we can share it with our other customers

We just bought a new home with a family room, living room, and loft. Our old home only had a living room. So I will be furnishing and decorating the family room first.

I am determined to get to the Master Bedroom next! Poor thing has been so neglected and it's time to change that!

Dragonfliez Made February 21, 2011 at 1:02 PM

Wow! who'd thought I would be country, romantic, traditional. Hoping to get my bedroom and living room done soon!

And I am a follower, also liked both on Facebook.

Jennifer Beard February 21, 2011 at 1:06 PM

Comment #1 - I'm Rustic-Traditional-Tuscan. I always did have trouble mixing my tastes.

I now Like Remodalaholic and Design Guide on FB!

My Style was mostly Modern mixed with Coastal and Traditional...i guess what I always thought... I am eclectic

sweetpea324 February 21, 2011 at 2:18 PM

My style is modern romantic. The romantic part surprised me haha. I'd describe my style more as eclectic.

sweetpea324 February 21, 2011 at 2:18 PM

Alexis February 21, 2011 at 3:37 PM

I probably would want to do my living room, but am not quite sure since we are moving to a new house/city/state in a month!

Our Blessed Life February 21, 2011 at 3:56 PM

My style for my house would mostly be traditional with a little modern mixed in!

Our Blessed Life February 21, 2011 at 3:57 PM

I would want to work on my living room - it needs some new paint and maybe some new furniture!

kajr February 21, 2011 at 6:49 PM

My style was a combination of four! Rustic, traditional, romantic and Asian.

kajr February 21, 2011 at 6:50 PM

I also submitted photos for my living room. It feels like a bowling alley sometimes.

MommaP February 21, 2011 at 8:27 PM

My style was Rustic with an appreciation for Traditional and Country styles.

MommaP February 21, 2011 at 8:28 PM

I would love to either work on my son's room or our office....probably the office.

Our Little Beehive February 23, 2011 at 12:03 PM

I'm modern traditional (or rather I should say we, since I took S's opinions into account)

Morgan M. February 23, 2011 at 1:04 PM

I am a modern romantic - very clean lines but little romantic touches throughout

Morgan M. February 23, 2011 at 1:04 PM

I am working on my open concept - living / dining room with 500 square feet dilemma next :)

cs white February 23, 2011 at 1:16 PM

My profile came back as Asian/Coastal/Modern/Romantic/Traditional. No wonder I have such a hard time deciding what I want!

LNelson February 24, 2011 at 8:41 AM

I'm decorating my formal living room next. Im currently in the process of collecting things! :)

LNelson February 24, 2011 at 8:43 AM

The style that I would love to do in the formal living room is french provincial/french country/shabby chic! :)

Kyra @ RACKS and Mooby February 24, 2011 at 9:57 AM

My style was 60% traditional according to the Stylefinder. Sounds about right! :)

Anonymous,  February 25, 2011 at 5:32 PM

I had a 5-way tie for my style! Apparently I like a lot of different things. The funny part is that I have always considered my style to be Tuscan, but that was one that didn't make the tie!

Anonymous,  February 25, 2011 at 5:34 PM

I want to work on my family room. I just got new couches, and now the rest of the room looks like it needs some work!

kn February 26, 2011 at 10:20 PM

Just Simply is my style, there are several rooms that could use a pickup, especially my family room. Sounds like alot of fun.
