This party link is such a fun makeover, and I love the chair itself so much character!  Mandi at Vintage Revivals did a great job, don't you think?

Hello!  I am back from a crazy stressful month in Salt Lake and I am glad to be home.  I miss everyone so bad though,  apparently you cant have the best of both worlds.  But being home gave me some time to finish this chair.  I bought the fabric at Home Fabrics in Sandy (Fah-reakin amazing!) it was $5.99 a yard.  I died right when I saw it.  It goes perfectly in my living room......which you guys have no clue what it looks like because the dog ate my camera cord.  But here it a little preview.  So here is what I did,  I primed with Kilz and painted 2 coats of Krylon Classic Grey which in my opinion is the PERFECT Grey.  I unpicked all of the stitching on the cushions and basically used them as a pattern and reconstructed it the same way I took it apart.  Turned out pretty good don't you think?

I couldn't find the type of buttons that I needed,  the ones that the chair came with kind iof looked like a dumbbell. So I spray painted them black.  It actually turned out really cute they look like black velvet. The buttons are kind of camouflaged so this is a close up.

Buttons on the back

Total Cost of This Treasure:
Chair: $8.00
Fabric: 2 yards @ $5.99/yd =$11.98
Primer: $2.00
Paint: $2.69
Grand Total: $20.67

Great new look for a low Price!
Great Job!
