This year has had record breaking hot- Hot- HOT temperatures here in Texas, over 70 days of over 100 degrees. I can’t believe that I survived and not melted away. Being a Remodelaholic is a lot of hard work -and a lot of that work is spent in our hot garage (shop). When I say hot I mean it, according to my little thermometer hanging on the wall in there, which I check just to torture myself, it has been around 105 – 115 all summer long!
OUCH!!!
So you can't believe how fast I jumped on the opportunity to test out a portable
air conditioning unit courtesy of
Air and Water Inc.!
The NewAir AC-14100H portable air conditioner is a commercial-quality compact unit that works as an air conditioner, fan, and dehumidifier in one. I love when things have multiple purposes! It can cover an area of 525 square feet and it’s one of the most powerful portable air conditioners they carry. The NewAir products are also energy efficient and use earth-friendly refrigerants.
This little cooler has some nice features to it. Not only does it cool but it heats as well. Just picture your central air unit about the quarter the size and on wheels. Also, it will be a nice back up system for us in case of emergency if anything happens to the one in the house! I always like to
be prepared! Also, our friends recently had their system go out, and we had it to offer to them, which made me way happy!
HALLELUJAH!
Every time I step foot in the garage/shop, I flip on that little switch and let the cool air fill the room! Love it!
