Make Some Money Blogging?!...
23 August 2011
A few months ago while surfing blogs, I noticed that one of the bloggers I read was doing some really cool product reviews- a cake decorating machine, among other fun crafting tools. I got curious and clicked on the sponsors link to see what it was all about.
Technically up until now, I have only accepted two offers (including this) because I am really picky about what I have on the blog.
Writing the post was actually fun! I got to window shop a decorating store I love and make a mood board,- see fun, easy and informative. I feel like it fit my goals with the blog, and you as the reader could either go to the sponsored store to create the look, or use the mood board as inspiration to work with what you have. Win/win.
And in the future who knows... maybe we all (those that sign up and I) will get to try out some great new tools... like a compressor, or compound miter saw.. or (let's dream really big) a new oven/range for my kitchen... or a trip to Europe... okay, I am probably getting a little too much on the dream side.
But I think it is a pretty fun opportunity. And, I am always thankful to my sponsors who make the 40 plus hours I put into this blog a week possible!
So, if this sounds like something you would want to try, sign up here, and they also run an affiliate program... which can also be a fun way to work with them. And right now they are offering a chance to win a trip to Paris if you sign up.

This sounds like so much fun! I've been wondering and wondering how other bloggers get to "test drive" products for review. Before I check into this further, do you know if this company works in
Canada as well? (Cause that's where I live!)

Rita, I am not sure, but I hope it wouldn't matter... Maybe the website says yes or no, check it out if you get the chance.
I know there are Canadians who do social spark....they just can't enter the Paris Drawing (just for US citizens) But anyway, back to my question! I am curious Cassity if you set up direct publishing or not? That seems so scary, like you, I am very particular what I put on my blog. What did you do about that option? Or maybe I am not understanding what
opps.....what direct publishing means. (got cut off!)
I totally agree! I love socialspark, but I've only accepted one offer because I don't want to post about something unless I'ved used it myself! I was getting frustrated thinking I was the only one getting really random offers :)
