Bonnie at House of Grace has found some nice lighting and decor items to upgrade the look of her home for a good price.
Here is what she found and did with it.
This post is way over due!!! Over the past 8 weeks, I have been showing you all what I have been finding at garage sales but I haven’t been showing you what I have been doing with ALL of those things! So, today, I am going to show you my top 4 finds!
I am really excited about this first makeover. I showed you here about a new $30 light fixture that I found for my dinning room. Before I show you the AFTER photos, here are some BEFORE pictures to remind you what the old light fixture looked like.
It is so small, that you can’t see it here, lol.
Here is the NEW one!!!
Here is a before and after photo.
What do you think? I love it!!!!
I am not sure why the wall color looks so different in the photos. The paint I used is Fairway Oaks from Benjamin Moore.
The second little makeover that I did was switching out this picture for a new clock. I am obsessed with clocks especially big ones. (Can I tell you a secret? I love clocks but I hate reading them-yes I can read it but I only read digital ones, ha!)
I really like this picture and I think that I even showed you a makeover that I did changing it to this but I am already ready for a change. It seems like I am always doing that!
Before.
What do you think? I really like it. It seems like I can’t do a lot because of that thermostat there. Argh!
Lastly, I changed up this wrought iron hanging for a huge framed photo. I loved the wrought iron hanging but I had it here for 3 years, so I needed a change.
Before.
After.
I think that it fills the space a little better and it is nice to see it when you first walk in. What do you think?
Before.
After. (It was only $5)
I really hope that these small changes!!! I do and I can’t wait to show you more!!!!
Also, I received an email or comment from someone asking me what I do with all of my finds. I have huge storage shelves in my basement where I keep all of my home decor items. I also keep all of my holiday/seasonal decor items in large clear storage bins. I will try to do a post on it.
If there is something else that you would like me to post about, just let me know! Thanks.
I hope that you are having a great week!
Bonnie :)
Aren't those some nice upgrades?
What do you think?

Awww! Thanks so much! What a great surprise!!! Have a great day today.

Great changes! Especially in the dining room- the larger chandelier looks so much better in that room. It grounds it and makes it look "finished." Bravo!
Love the light fixture...looks great!
Isn't it fun to change? I am itching right now to change things but our home is for sale. I am jonesin to paint, putty, and redecorate!
Love all your upgrades. That new light fixture in the dining room really makes a statement in that room. Love & blessings from NC!
