Old Doors Made As A Hook Board: Guest Remodel

If you have been following our blog for long you will remember The Lucas Hutch. After it was completed we decided we liked it so much that we kept it and turned it into Our Lucas Entertainment Center.And to do so we pulled the doors off and they have been sitting there ever since. Until this past week when they received a special makeover for a very special cause.

We took the four doors and converted them into hook boards. We donated two of the boards along with some other items to Davis Cox and kept two of the boards for our own bathroom makeovers.

Hook boards can be used for so many different things. They can hold hanging wet towels, gathered flowers held together by twine and hung upside down, bottles wrapped in wire, name plates, numbered plates, keepsakes, and antique jewelry or pendants.

These were simple and cost next to nothing. Don't you just love projects pulled together by things laying around. I know I sure do.
