Patio Reveal

This couple at This Fresh Fossil have been busy digging up a large surprise.  This is what They found.

About one year ago, we found out there was a patio buried in our backyard.

About 2 months ago, we began to dig it up.

About 2 weeks ago, I began power washing it.

Just in time for our first ever Patio Party.

Why would anyone literally bury this cement patio?

I guess we'll never know.

Want to know our budget breakdown for getting our new huge patio?

Zero dollars.

Sa-weet.

Lots of wark.  Looks like they can now sit back and
relax on their new patio.  I love projects that cost
nothing.  What are your thoughts?

  11. Ohmygosh, thanks so much for featuring us! I was catching up on my favorite blogs in my reader when I saw the photo of my hubby in our backyard, and I was like - wait a second, this picture looks familiar...!

Thanks so much for the wonderful comments, everyone. And to answer some questions: our next-door neighbor originally told us about the buried patio (we never would have known!) - apparently she looked out of her window one day to see the previous owner dumping a truck-load of dirt onto the patio. Crazy, huh?

Thanks again for featuring us - it's our first -but hopefully not our last! ;)
